Yvette is passionate about dams and their importance to communities. Yvette has over 17 years of experience in the dams industry working with SMEC. During that time she has developed skills in dam surveillance, risk assessments, investigations, complex analysis and leading teams. Yvette has worked across the full lifecycle of a dam including planning, design, construction and maintenance. In addition to experience as a consultant Yvette has 7 years of experience working for an asset owner and this allows her to understand and represent owner’s and operator’s perspective and gives her a unique understanding of policy and governance practices. Yvette is an Associate member of ANCOLD and is currently SMEC’s voting representative.
Yvette has wide experience of serving on community based committees and understands the challenges and benefits of working in volunteer roles. Yvette would bring these skills to benefit ANCOLD specifically, and the dams industry and the wider community in general.
