Program Testimonials
Barton Maher (Mentor)
It has been a great opportunity to connect with another professional and share some of the professional journeys we are both on. It has been very enjoyable to work through career opportunities and provide reassurance that there is a key role for the individual in the industry.
Rob Keogh (Mentor)
I have found being a mentor has been mutually beneficial. Whilst the mentor can pass on experience, they can also benefit from new ideas and technology. The scope of benefit extends beyond the technical and has shown benefits in reaching into broad life skills and experience.
Michel Raymond (Mentor)
I found being a mentor was very rewarding. I initially thought it would be good opportunity to share experience and connect to emerging professionals. The mentor experience gave me more than that also bringing new personal knowledge of the perspectives and challenges that emerging professionals see in the industry and their specific job.
Nathaniel Mar Fan (Mentee)
My mentor and I have generally caught up fortnightly to catch up and discuss current career obstacles or positive reflections. Seeing the benefits, I am more and more wanting to continue this relationship in developing technical knowledge also.
Tansy Huang (Mentee)
I’ve had a very positive experience, particularly appreciating the spontaneous and informal sessions I had with my mentor. Some of those impromptu discussions led to deep, reflective thinking afterwards, allowing me to internalize and apply the insights more effectively. My mentor’s ability to be present and engage in these unplanned yet meaningful conversations has significantly enriched my understanding of project management, leadership and risk management.
Emmeline Barte (Mentee)
I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be paired with my mentor. Their guidance and support have been invaluable to me. As someone who can relate to my current career path, they’ve been an inspiring role model. Their ability to connect with me on a personal and professional level has made a significant impact.
I believe the success of this program lies in the quality of the mentor-mentee pairings. When there’s a strong personal and professional connection, it creates a more supportive and rewarding experience for both parties.
