Spike in earthquake activity in SW Western Australia

A significant spike in earthquake activity in the south west of WA has seen a sequence of events starting on September 16th with a magnitude 5.6 event, followed on October 13 by a magnitude 4.7 event and to show that the show was not over a magnitude 5.4 event occurred on November 8. These peaks were interspersed with numerous smaller events. The events were felt as far away as Mandurah and Perth.
