Thank you to our outgoing National Convenor Franceska Strano and outgoing state reps Helena Sutherland (QLD) & Thomas Ridgeway (TAS) for your impactful contributions to the ANCOLD YP community during your time in respective roles. Your efforts have led to fantastic career development opportunities for other YPs and you have significantly contributed to the YP footprint within the broader ANCOLD community. On behalf of the YP ANCOLD community I’d like to thank you and wish you well in your future ambitions. Special shout out of congratulations to Franceska for being awarded an ANCOLD contribution award in recognition of her outstanding contribution convening and leading the ANCOLD Young Professionals Group.
I feel very privileged to have been selected to represent the ANCOLD YP community as the new National Young Professional Convenor. I am grateful to have met many of the YP community at the recent Sydney Conference and am excited by the great potential of our ANCOLD YPs. I look forward to working with you all to accomplish great achievements in 2023.
