ANCOLD

Michel is a civil engineer with 27 years experience involving work on water supply dams, tailings dams, and flood mitigation dams.  His professional career developed in consulting practice where he gained capabilities in hydrology, hydraulics, modelling and design, risk assessment, risk mitigation, environment and water quality management, knowledge of dam failure modes, and a range of project optimisation methods and applications.  Since 2012 Michel has worked in a dam owner role with further experience gained in dam safety management, real time flood operations, risk management strategies, policy review, project scoping, multi-objective project and operations optimisation, and technical communications.  Michel’s contribution to ANCOLD has included Queensland State Representative, 2008 and 2015 ANCOLD conference committees, and current guideline working groups for Acceptable Flood Capacity and Dam Break Modelling.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

System maintenance will be performed on the servers that host the ANCOLD Digital Guidelines, on Saturday, December 21st @ 10:00 PM AEDT which will require the servers to reboot.

Total downtime during that event could be up to 4 hours and will commence sharply at 10 pm AEDT.  During that time end users will not be able to view or access their secured content.
